Production

Today, copper wire is used in cable production in all countries including Turkey. It is preferred because of its high conductivity and its effect on quality cable production. The use of copper wire is common because it is generally used all over the world and is easily available everywhere. It is seen that cables are frequently used at the conductor end.

When we look at the cables we use in our daily life, it is possible to encounter cables of any thickness. copper wires; It comes to the cable factory in standard thickness and in coils. The standard thickness and ready-to-process copper wires arriving at the factory are sent to the thinning machines at the factory, according to the customer's request or according to the thickness of the cable to be produced. There are cylindrical molds in the thinning machine in thicknesses that can be thinned from 6.8 cm to 1.5 cm. Coil-shaped copper wires are processed at the desired fineness by passing through the thinning machine. Copper wire is easily processed due to its soft material feature. The copper wires, thinned to the desired thickness, are transferred to the machine called annealing machine, where the hardness of the copper is softened and its brightness is examined. The reason why the copper wire goes through the annealing process is to get the bright color of the copper wire. Copper wire that is not annealed turns out black.
